Within the procurement context, outsourcing offers a solution in the decision whether to build, buy or lease goods and services used in essential business operations. Outsourcing consists of the delegation of a business process to a third party subject to ongoing contractual commitments for service level agreements, relationship governance and various compliance mandates. To be effective, outsourcing requires strategy and detailed implementation procedures by a team of retained employees supervising the service provider.
We have extensive experience in outsourcing involving a variety of processes. These include:
- information technology (ITO) including managed infrastructures, application development and maintenance (ADM) and website development and hosting;
- finance and accounting including accounts payable and accounts receivable, bookkeeping and collections and financial planning;
- human resources administration (HRO) including recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), payroll and benefits administration and learning;
- customer care outsourcing (CCO) in insurance, mortgage and credit card services;
- logistics including mailrooms, messengers, transportation, customs clearances, export controls and warehousing;
- legal services outsourcing including research, e-discovery, litigation support, document management and paralegal services;
- engineering and design services including CAD/CAM/CAE, conversions from 2D to 3D, mockup design and virtual stress testing;
